U17 Vietnam won 6-0 against the youth team of Monchengladbach

Coach Hoang Anh Tuan’s teachers and students closed their training trip in Germany with a jubilant victory over U17 Monchengladbach.

As soon as the opening whistle sounded, U17 Vietnam raised the offensive line. The result came right from the 10th minute of the match. After the attack on the left flank of U17 Vietnam, defender U17 Monchengladbach was forced to commit a foul in the penalty area with Trung Hieu. On the penalty spot, captain Ba Dat calmly finished the correct shot to open the scoring.

Only a minute later, from Ba Dat’s phase of stealing the ball and launching it from the middle of the field, Long Vu went down to break the offside trap, overcame the opponent’s goalkeeper and easily put the ball into the net to make it 2-0.

The lead by 2 goals creates psychological momentum for U17 Vietnam. They continued to attack the opponent first and created many opportunities. Before the first half ended, U17 Vietnam also scored 2 more goals thanks to Minh Tien and Bao Long.

In the second half, coach Hoang Anh Tuan directed the students to slow down the game, actively keep the ball and limit collisions. Huynh Trieu and Minh Thuan helped U17 Vietnam have 2 more goals, closing the great victory with a crisp score of 6-0 .

Sharing after the match, head coach Hoang Anh Tuan said that the fitness of the players is an important factor to bring victory. In addition, U17 Vietnam deployed the pressing game very well.

After 4 weeks of training in Germany with 4 official matches, U17 Vietnam won 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss, scored 10 goals and conceded 6 times. Before this victory, coach Hoang Anh Tuan’s students defeated U16 Koln with a score of 2-1.

The outstanding elements of U17 Vietnam will be retained in Germany for intensive training. Clubs in Germany will analyze together to choose worthy names. Results will be announced on April 14 by Claudio Pizarro, Bayern Munich legend and Werder Bremen.
