Rangnick praises Elanga
Although disappointing in terms of results, it cannot be denied that Manchester United have shown marked improvements under manager Ralf Rangnick. They knew how to control the game and play as a team instead of relying on individual moments of brilliance.
However, it seems that the Old Trafford team still has no plans to appoint Rangnick to the position of official captain. Instead, the leadership of Man Utd is still carefully considering between two familiar options that they have prioritized before.

Rangnick will probably settle down in the Advisor role.
More specifically, Sky Sports, citing sources from The Sun, said that coach Erik ten Hag and coach Mauricio Pochettino are still the two top candidates that the Red Devils are targeting. Before that, there was some information that Man Utd’s players were more inclined towards Pochettino, while the club’s leadership preferred Ten Hag.
It is expected that Man Utd will be easier to approach Ten Hag than Pochettino, because the Dutch strategist has openly admitted that he is ready for a new challenge. As for Pochettino, it is expected that Paris Saint-Germain will only accept him to leave if they appoint coach Zinedine Zidane to replace him. Notably, recently, Real Madrid is also being strongly linked with the Argentine captain.
